Description
This is still a work in progress but I get too excited and upload it before it's ready...Completely done by mouse... *sigh* I want a scanner....
This is a dwarf concept for a story my girlfriend and I are writing (basically we're creating a complete world including lore, cities, notable figures, etc etc) These dwarves are not like the Gimly you love, these are pretty much hulking figures, a bit bigger than a human. This is inspired on the Dvergar or "Norse Dwarves" in Norse mythology.
"...No early Norse source describes dwarves as little. The Prose Edda (Gylfaginning 14) says plainly: 'The dwarfs had the likeness of a human, although [they] live in earth and in stones'. The Old Norse term for 'likeness' (líki) refers to the body.
Only in later sources, such as the legendary sagas of the 13th to 15th centuries, the dwarves are described as small, and often ugly. In these sagas, they often play a humorous role."
-Excerpt from wikipedia's article on the Dvergar

Oh wow, to do that with a mouse takes some serious dedication.
I've never heard that about dwarves before. It's really interesting.
